I just watched the new videos from M83 and Death Cab For Cutie, BOTH of which star Red Headed Step Childs. These fair fire crotches also both happen to look exactly like my former roommate from when I lived in Italy. She was one of TWO Gingers that I was forced into living with during my 4 months abroad. How I survived that stitch of time is between me and the big JC.
But what I would like to know is what the HELL is going on here? Are freckles and flames finally being viewed as hotness? Can gingers come out of the closet and bask in their ironically cool coloring and fear not of being shunned at the sight of their see through skin and pink eyes? This is NOT a world I want to live in my friends, we must stop this before everyone starts throwing in skunk strips of red into their hair instead of blond. For shammmmmmeeeee.

Both songs (aside from the Ginger mania) are PRETTY good, PRETTY PRETTY good. But Death Cab made a ridiculously long intro in order to showcase this Ginger walking around Europe, which isn't that interesting so barely worth it. Also, Ben Gibbard's voice still makes me slightly uncomfortable, ugh sadness :(
