It's finale time! I had to do two recaps last night because the second half of the Real Housewives of NYC reunion aired on top of the season finale for 30 Rock, but my tired eyes couldn't handle it so Housewives will be up shortly. So to start here is the 30 Rock recap. Pretty funny and fulfilling episode, with MANY a celebrity cameo. Also, there was a M.A.S.H. inside joke that I didn't catch, read about that here on Videogum.

Here is this week's 30 Rock recap on Cinemablend. I must admit, I was drunk when I wrote this last night. My company had a party last night and though I told myself to leave by 8:30pm I stayed until 9:30 and had 1 too many beers (of course). I could barely understand what was happening in the show let alone write a coherent sentence so please excuse the blandness and awkward structure. Hopefully the Housewives will have some MAJOR drama next week to makeup for two crappy recaps in a row. Anyway, happy Friday!
I know I've basically abandoned this blog for the past couple of months, and I do apologize to all three of my readers for that but it needed to be done. Blogging was starting to annoy me and I felt like I was talking to myself so I had some "what's the point?" moments going on. Although I realize I'm probably still talking to myself I'm going to try to update again on a semi-regular basis (we'll see how that goes).
I also started recapping some shows for Cinema Blend which I will be linking to every now and then. For now it will be recaps of 30 Rock and The Real Housewives of NY. I'm also toying with the idea of bringing back The Hills recaps, but that MTV contest left me bitter and sour so I still have to think about that one.
But for now you can check out my first 30 Rock recap on Cinema Blend. I hope to be able to really get into the Housewives ones as reality TV can be much more fun to recap since the subjects are just BEGGING to be made fun of. Well scripted TV doesn't leave much room for your own jokes, but it's still fun!
Last night was the return of The Office and finally, my life is once again complete. The episode was nothing less than pure glory. Michael and Jan threw a dinner party that they tricked their guests into coming to. Needless to say hilarity ensued. Michael and Jan made all of the guests feel COMPLETELY awkward in OH so many ways. Here's a brief rundown, in no particular order (**SPOILER ALERT):
#1 Jan is led to believe by Michael that he and Pam used to date, hence she shoots Pam the evil eye through out the night and may have possibly poisoned her food
#2 Dwight was not invited because he is not part of a couple nor were there enough wine glasses. Thus he shows up with his old babysitter, (who's relationship with him is "purely carnal") two wine glasses and beet salad.
#3 Jan finds serenity in listening to her old assistant Hunter's new CD. He's truly an artist.
#4 Michael splurged on a $200 flat screen TV that is hoisted to the wall, he loves standing and watching it all day long.
#5 Babe, Babe, Babe--Michael and Jan call each other Babe constantly. THIS was my favorite part of the show as I was JUST recently (and have been for years actually) making fun of young, unmarried couples who call each other Babe or any other stupid, generic pet name. But of them all, Babe has GOT to be the worst.
30 Rock aired last night too and I have to say, I just CAN not get into this show. Alec Baldwin is hilarious but the rest, mehh. It's silly but never cracks me up. It may be the acting? It just seems too forced and overly goofy. WHO knows. I'll keep at it because it's definitely better than most other stuff on TV but I can't say that I'm a true fan yet.
